01/ Baseus Bowie M2s charging case teardown
Disassemble the charging case and take out the cockpit of the charging case.
The bottom structure of the charging cockpit, the main board is fixed by screws.
The battery unit is fixed on one side of the charging cockpit, which is cushioned and protected by a sponge pad.
Remove the components on the charging cockpit, including the motherboard, battery and FPC.

TPS SY8801 bluetooth headset smart charging case solution, integrated charging module and discharging module, charging current and discharging cut-off current can be adjusted externally.
SY8801 uses the output power and ground to realize the communication between charging case and earbuds. The chip integrates standard I2C interface and interrupt signal to facilitate the communication between the chip and MCU. At the same time, the chip also provides load detection and load insertion identification. SY8801 is very suitable for the design of charging case, which greatly simplifies the peripheral circuit and components, and provides an easy-to-use solution for the application of charging case.
The 3.3μH boost inductor works with the power management chip to boost the battery to charge the earbuds.
FPC circuit.
The Hall element of the AR3C1 silk screen is used to sense the magnetic field change when the charging case is turned on/off, and then notify the charging case MCU and earbuds to pair or disconnect with the connected device.

02/ Baseus Bowie M2s earbuds teardown
Enter the teardown part of the earbuds, first remove the back cover of the headset stem.
The inside of the cover is provided with a bluetooth antenna and a touch detection patch.
The acoustic structure of the microphone at the end of the headset stem improves the sealing and brings better radio performance.
The motherboard structure inside the cavity, and the FPC inside the earbud head is connected to the motherboard through the BTB connector.
Open the earbud head and disconnect the battery wire.
The inside of the earbud uses a steel shell button battery, which is wrapped with high-temperature insulating tape.
Steel shell button battery model: M1040S2, nominal voltage: 3.85V, energy: 0.135Wh, from MIC-POWER. The negative electrode of the battery is engraved with a QR code for product traceability.
Remove the connector, take out the motherboard and the metal connector that charges the earbuds.
The internal structure of the front cavity, the FPC is connected to the speaker and the in-ear detection sensor.
Take out the speaker, and connect the feedback microphone to the end of the FPC.
The speaker is connected to the FPC, with a tuning hole on the edge and protected by a wire mesh.
After actual measurement, the speaker size is 10mm.
The MEMS feedback microphone of the laser carving R313 A51D is used for the noise cancellation function to pick up the environmental noise, from RAYKING.
The capacitive in-ear detection sensor is used to automatically pause music playback when the earbuds are taken off, and automatically resume playback after wearing them.

Bluetrum BT8952F bluetooth audio SoC belongs to the third-generation BT895x series, based on 22nm advanced low-power technology. Support the latest Bluetooth 5.3 LE Audio protocol and LC3 codec.
Bluetrum BT8952F has a built-in 32-bit high-performance RISC-V processor core and HIFI 4 DSP. The maximum speed of the processor is 125MHz, and the maximum speed of HIFI 4 is 270Mhz. Built-in 16Mbits flash memory, 892KB RAM, flexible GPIO pins with programmable pull-up and pull-down resistors. Support GPIO wake-up or interrupt.
Bluetrum BT8952F has built-in 24bit dual-channel DAC and 24bit mono-channel ADC, supports flexible audio equalizer adjustment and 2-way MIC amplifier input. BT8952F has a built-in dual-mic AI call noise cancellation algorithm, which can realize dual-mic beamforming call noise cancellation or 1+1 microphone call noise cancellation. Support feedforward, feedback and hybrid ANC functions. Integrate touch, PMU and other modules.
The precision winding inductor around the bluetooth chip supplies power to its internal circuit.
WINSEMI WSDF13E2N2H lithium battery protection IC, built-in advanced power MOSFET, high-precision voltage detection circuit and delay circuit. It has overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent, short circuit and other protection functions required by all batteries, and the power consumption is very low during operation. Comes in a very small DFN4L-1×1 package, ideal for wearable devices.

03/ Summary
In terms of appearance, the charging case adopts a new open cockpit design, which is fixed by multiple magnets, making it stable and not easy to fall off. The fuselage is spliced with two processes of baking paint + frosting, which is more textured. The handle-shaped in-ear earbuds are similar in appearance to the previous generation. The square headset stem is matched with the fluorescent scatter design on the back panel – very recognizable.
In terms of internal configuration, the charging case has built-in 400mAh lithium battery, and is equipped with a circuit protection board responsible for overcharging, overdischarging, and overcurrent protection. The main board adopts the Type-C interface input power supply, and the TPS SY8801 bluetooth headset smart charging box solution is responsible for charge and discharge management.
