Huawei’s Mate40 series global conference was successfully held on October 22, 2020. In addition to mobile phones, the biggest hot spot at the conference was Huawei’s first over-ear headphone (Huawei FreeBuds Studio) officially unveiled. Until the end of the China conference on October 31, this product was officially launched in China, and the previously released Huawei FreeLace Pro noise-cancelling bluetooth headphones and Huawei FreeBuds Pro true wireless noise-cancelling headphones formed the strongest lineup of Huawei noise-cancelling headphones , Has a strong competitiveness in the bluetooth headphone market.
The overall appearance of Huawei FreeBuds Studio wireless headphone is simple and stylish. The outstanding feature is that the head beam and the headphone connection structure adopts interspersed stainless steel cylindrical slender arms, which makes the entire headphone appearance very recognizable; the head beam part of the headphone is integrated. The whole is wrapped in black material; the inner side seems to have the same structure, the top position is filled with soft material, and the two sides are stretch structure cabins; the earmuffs are made of skin-friendly double-layer protein leather, making it more comfortable to wear.
Functionally, it not only supports active noise reduction, wearing detection and other functions, but also has intelligent dynamic noise reduction, dual transparent transmission mode, broadband high-resolution sound quality, dual-device simultaneous connection and seamless switching, and full-scene intelligent interactive experience. Let’s take a look at the internal structure of this product!

Summary
The overall appearance of Huawei FreeBuds Studio wireless headphone is simple and stylish. The integrated design of the stainless steel cylindrical slender arm and the headphone beam improves the appearance of the product. The structure and functionality are also relatively complete, which can realize up and down, left and right rotation and expansion. Improve personalized wearing; the only thing missing is the folding structure, but compared to the small volume plus the portable storage bag, the overall impact is relatively small; the skin-friendly double-layer protein leather material of the earmuffs also makes the wearing more Comfortable.
In terms of internal structure configuration, it can be regarded as a mirror design. The speaker unit uses a 40mm polymer composite diaphragm speaker with an AK4377A HiFi chip to provide low distortion and high sound quality. In addition, the inclined placement of the speaker unit is more in line with the structure of the human auricle, so that the sound can be better received by the ear; the large-area capacitive wear detection sensor realizes more accurate detection, and the headphone uses four MEMS microphones and four electrets A combination of body microphones.
Both the left and right headphones are equipped with ATL 410mAh lithium-ion batteries, which have a total battery capacity of 820mAh, which can achieve a battery life of 20h in noise reduction mode. It is equipped with TI BQ25601 battery charge management and system power path management IC; also uses the chip TWS architecture, and adds 4 antennas for diversity reception to enhance sensitivity.
The active noise reduction solution uses the ADI ADAU1787 audio DSP chip, and four microphone units are respectively equipped in the left and right ears to achieve more accurate environmental noise detection and achieve deeper noise reduction performance. A Huawei Hisilicon Hi1132 chip is also used on the motherboard for bluetooth connection. The difference is that the right headphone also uses an ST STM32L476 ultra-low-power microcontroller for control of the whole machine, and an Azoteq IQS572 capacitive touch controller for touch operation.
The last thing to say is that a large number of BTB connectors are used between the various components of Huawei FreeBuds Studio, and the connectors can minimize manual participation in the production process, improve the automation process, reduce assembly time and cost, and increase the output per unit time. Fully automated production is the goal that every company is pursuing. This product also reflects the process of Huawei’s fully automated production.

wow very complete! Could the lack of bass in ANC mode be due to the inner mic cancelling the low frequency sound?
Mine have glued pads not claps
