What I am going to review today is iQOO TWS Air Pro, which has an upgraded Bluetooth 5.3 chip and Active Noise Cancellation. The price is less than $50 – officially entering the threshold of low-priced semi-in-ear noise canceling earbuds.

I bought the white version of iQOO TWS Air Pro, regardless of the charging case or earbuds, it is almost the same as the Vivo TWS Air and iQOO TWS Air. The charging case has a cobblestone oval shape, and the earbud is designed for the second-generation semi-in-ear cavity, which are exactly the same as those produced by the same mold.
iQOO TWS Air Pro supports open the box and pair devices automatically, the interior is light gray with contrasting colors, and the earbuds are also ergonomically worn. The battery capacity of the charging case is 430mAh, and that of the earbud is slightly worse, only 31mAh. After turning off the ANC mode, the single battery life is up to 6 hours, and it is only about 3 hours after turning on the ANC. At this stage, the contradiction between semi-in-ear earbuds and active noise cancellation is also the battery life.
Vivo TWS has always used the outdated 2nd-generation semi-in-ear cavity design, and hopes to adopt the third-generation cavity design similar to Apple AirPods 3 as soon as possible. There are obvious parting lines in the workmanship of iQOO TWS Air Pro, especially the vertical lines on the earbud stem. I really donot know what’s so special about this set of molds, but it exposes the defect of workmanship.
Due to the mold problem of iQOO TWS Air Pro, I was wearing it unstable, so it directly affected the final noise cancellation effect. Because even if the active noise cancellation is done to the extreme, the passive noise cancellation will affect the overall situation – not to mention the semi-in-ear noise cancellation algorithm is currently immature.
Overall, I think the Active Noise Cancellation of iQOO TWS Air Pro is one of the best among semi-in-ear earbuds – but compared with in-ear earphones, it is not worth the TWS earbuds at the same price.
If you are using a vivo and iQOO mobile phone, the functions supported by the App are very comprehensive – otherwise there are only basic functions. I think the impact is not big, but unfortunately – iQOO TWS Air Pro does not have a separate low-latency mode to choose from.
Although iQOO is the main direction of e-sports and games, the tuning of Vivo acoustics will not be too bad – it is in the same line as Vivo TWS Air. As for the effects of DeepX 2.0 and Monster Sound, I don’t feel very good. On the contrary, after turning on ANC, the vocals are moist and the low-frequency is smooth, which is suitable for listening to pop songs. ANC compensation can be regarded as a solution to bass leakage. Listening to music with iQOO TWS Air Pro is still good, but it maybe not suitable for everyone.
Verdict
iQOO TWS Air Pro and iQOO TWS Air have almost no changes, only the Bluetooth chip and Active Noise Cancellation have been upgraded. Several aspects of Vivo TWS Air and iQOO TWS Air’s shortcomings – poor wearing, short battery life, and slow software maintenance have not been improved. Price reason – I have to recommend it as the entry-level TWS earbuds with semi-in-ear design + ANC. Because even if you think its noise cancellation is not good enough, the sound quality of iQOO TWS Air Pro is also good in semi-in-ear earbuds.
