Injoinic IP5518 TWS charging case management SoC is a multifunctional power management SoC that integrates MCU, 5V boost converter, lithium battery charging management, and battery level indication – providing a complete power solution for TWS charging case. The high integration and rich functions of IP5518 require only a few peripheral devices when applied, effectively reducing the size of the overall solution and reducing BOM costs.

The IP5518 chip has a built-in 5V output, synchronous rectifier boost DC-DC. The power tube is built-in to provide a maximum output current of 300mA, and the boost efficiency is as high as 93%. The switching frequency of the DC-DC converter is 1.5MHz, which can support low-cost inductors and capacitors. The linear charging of IP5518 provides a maximum charging current of 500mA, and the maximum charging current can be flexibly configured. The built-in IC temperature and input voltage intelligently adjust the charging current function.

IP5518 can realize independent detection of TWS earbuds, and automatically enter charging mode after detecting that the earphones are placed in the charging case. The earphones automatically enter sleep mode after being fully charged, and the quiescent current can be reduced to 20uA. The full current detection accuracy of the earphones can be flexibly customized, and the full current detection accuracy is up to 1mA. IP5518 has a built-in MCU, and can flexibly customize 4/3/2/1 LEDs or 188 digital tube power display. Built-in 12-bit ADC can accurately calculate the battery power.
